Connecting Ministries

Theresa & Cheryl Goss SBF AugustShaped by Faith guest Cheryl Goss is the founder of a non-profit organization called, Connecting Ministries.

It is designed to equip and empower individuals to live out God’s word.

The vision of Connecting Ministries is to provide consultation and training in women’s ministry and discipleship and to grow into other areas of ministry. Their desire is to also provide the opportunity for individuals to come together and participate in biblical conferences that will provide them with a safe environment where they can connect and grow spiritually. Connecting Ministries will also work with local non-profit organizations to meet the needs of their clients through counseling and small groups.

We each need to connect with one another and allow God to bring us together for His kingdom purposes. We need God’s Divine connections to accomplish His purposes in our lives and in the lives of others. We also need God’s directions on how to do ministry together. The Bible is so clear on how to live and the importance of connecting with one another in the book of Romans 12:2-5. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function,  so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.

Since we talked so much about connecting, I decided to have Cheryl demonstrate an exercise that connects all parts of our bodies together, including our BRAIN! This exercise will allow us to use the left and right side of the brain at the same time. Brain Fitness exercises should be done everyday. For more exercises that you can do anywhere!
