Statement of Faith

I believe that Jesus Christ is “the way, the truth and the life.”
John 14:16

I believe all scripture is “God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”

I believe that salvation is only found through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 
Acts 4:12

I believe in one God, existing eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

I believe that Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners and can fully redeem and miraculously use those who have been the worst of sinners and who are willing to be used for the glory of God.

I believe that if we confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead that we will be saved.

I believe water baptism is an act of obedience and symbolically demonstrates the transformation from old life to new life made possible by the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I believe all of us have been given different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same spirit.  The gifts of the Spirit are for strengthening God’s people and for proof of God’s existence and power to unbelievers.
